Larry David is having trouble working the toaster again
Y’all remember how back during the “Rat Dog” episode Larry (LD) David was having trouble with the toaster?! Welp, he’s having that same problem again.
During the promo for the Season 10 opener, which airs January 19, 2020, we first see LD looking down at his two pieces of toast.
To us, the toast looks done. But to LD, unh-unh. That toast has to be made just right! The edges have to be crisp and the toast has to be golden brown. It can’t have golden spots here, light brown spots there, black spots up there, and burnt edges. It has to be perfecto!
I know there are some of you who are wondering, “Why doesn’t he just put it in the oven on 350 and keep checking up on it until it looks the way he wants it to?”
Well, that’s because the oven takes too long. And the whole purpose of a toaster is to decrease the amount of time that it takes to make toast.
LD, of course, will say, “The whole purpose of the toaster is for me not to use the oven. With the oven, I have to stand there, wait, and watch the toast just to make sure that it toasts right. Here, I have to do the same thing with the toaster that I do with the oven. Why can’t they just make a toaster that works right?!”
